Clive Wilkinson Architects is very proud to announce the promotion, effective immediately, of the following staff members who have performed exceptional service to our Clients, our projects and to the development of our internal capabilities over the past few years:

Ben Howell, Caroline Morris and Humberto Arreola have all been elevated to the level of Associate. Amber Wernick has been elevated to the position of Senior Interior Designer.

Ben Howell
Since joining the practice four and a half years ago, Ben has directed his considerable energies to resolving architectural and construction challenges on some of the firm’s most important projects, most particularly Intuit Marine Way Building in Mountain View, and the Santa Monica College Media Center here in Los Angeles.  With his background in literature and language studies, Benjamin’s approach to architecture is informed as much by architectural history and research as by the physical requirements of material and process. In pairing research with technical application, he seeks to provide simple, thoughtful design strategies for projects of any type and scale. Benjamin earned his M.Arch at Columbia University and is a California State Licensed Architect with LEED accreditation. His professional experience includes large-scale creative work spaces, research facilities, commercial high-rise exteriors, and higher education buildings. 

Caroline Morris
In a short space of time, Caroline has evolved from architectural assistant, to project coordinator, to a very effective project manager responsible for managing most of our East Coast clients. Her background in Interior Architecture has provided a platform for exploring the intersections of architecture, interior design, graphics, and product design in workspace projects. At Clive Wilkinson Architects, she works closely with the project team to implement the vision of the design director.  In this highly collaborative process, she is responsible for client relations and developing visual materials to convey the design intent. Caroline also manages furniture coordination, bidding, and procurement processes.  She has worked on several projects including Publicis New York, The Barbarian Group, Barclays, BMW Munich, Gerson Lehrman Group, and Intuit, Silicon Valley.

Humberto Arreola
Humberto has made a substantial contribution to design excellence within the firm. His creative energies have been applied to several projects, from our headquarters design for Citelis in Mexico to masterplan design for a major tech client’s headquarters in Washington, and Stanford University’s new Redwood City Campus. Humberto’s background in Architecture and Urban Design and more than 10 years of working experience in three countries has provided a platform for exploring the intersections of urban design, architecture, interior design and landscape. Within our collaborative team, he is responsible for developing appropriate design concepts and strategies, integrating the ideas with the program, and developing the architectural elements, finishes and furnishings.

Amber Wernick
Amber joined our firm after an extensive background in large Mid-West projects, as a registered interior designer with 9 years of commercial design experience. With a diverse background in workspace, higher education, and healthcare interiors, Amber is involved in each project from research to construction. She is highly skilled at identifying client’s goals and developing design strategies to reinforce the overall concept. With a focus on interior finishes, lighting, graphics, and furniture, she ensures the design intent is maintained in all the details. She is also knowledgeable in sustainable building systems and materials as a LEED Green Associate. Amber has made an exceptional contribution to our projects, specifically the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, Publicis New York, and Stanford University, Redwood City.
