All our projects start with client visioning meetings where we encourage extensive discussions around goals and visions. We create mood boards and share imagery to discuss ideas, emotions and sensory environments.

Adaptive Re-Use & Restoration

We have been fortunate to apply our services to restoring some landmarks like the John Lautner designed Wolf House in West Hollywood. Here the goal was to carefully bring the home back to its 1961 roots and ensure that changes over time were corrected to align with the original vision of John Lautner.

We undertook architectural restoration and complete interior design services to marry the original style with a contemporary lifestyle seamlessly, and using furnishings that blended old and new together.

Multi-Family Projects

CWa also is delighted to provide services to multi-family projects. This housing type is so important to helping solve the Los Angeles housing crisis of today, where young people and families are largely priced out of ownership in the single-family home environment.

We have renovated downtown lofts like the 120-unit Toy Factory and built ground-up projects like the Franklin Condos in Hollywood.

Process & Planning

We believe that the secret to a great project is careful planning and the right team of experts. We assist our clients identifying the right professional expertise and the right contractors to execute the project, and administering their performance. We will manage the project from inception until start of construction, and thereafter the selected general contractor will manage the construction, with our oversight.

We will assist in producing a time schedule and budget estimate for the project for client consent, and monitoring these in process with the project delivery.

Building a house is never easy, there are just too many factors that play a part, but nothing compares to a bespoke home that has been shaped around you, and it may be the most rewarding project of your life.
